Every day we hear about the need for alternative fuel sources, but never really have a solution for this problem. Our nation’s dependence on oil has forced us into a depression. And what’s even worst is that we do not have control of the outcome. As long as we rely on the middle east to supply our hunger for energy is never ending, we will always be at the mercy of foreign powers. It is a bitter truth that many people choose to ignore.

By now I’m sure you’ve heard of hydrogen as an alternative fuel source. Many people do not know, but hydrogen is a very powerful source of energy. Unlike fossil fuels (petroleum), hydrogen is everywhere. Hydrogen is the most abundant of all chemical elements. About 75% of the universe made of hydrogen. Hydrogen in the country’s relatively rare element on earth. It simply means that the hydrogen by itself is usually hard to find. This is not a problem because hydrogen is actually very easy to produce.

Hydrogen can be produced from water through a process called electrolysis. This process method of separating chemically bonded elements, such as H2O, and the electric current passes through them. When using electrolysis with H2O (water), the result is hydrogen. Hydrogen gas itself is very powerful. Hydrogen is actually three times stronger then gasoline. Hydrogen can and will be a substitute for fossil fuels in the near future. In a hydrogen economy, we will no longer have the need for expensive oil. A hydrogen economy would dramatically reduce carbon dioxide emissions and to stop man-made global warming.

A hydrogen-powered car is a vehicle that uses hydrogen as a form of combustion to achieve the kinetic energy. Hydrogen combustion is done in the same way as traditional gas-powered cars. GM, and BMW has been producing a hydrogen-powered vehicles. The main problem with this vehicle is that hydrogen production in mass quantities decades away. This is because the risks and costs involved in transporting hydrogen.

The alternative we have to buy hydrogen-powered cars are currently converting our cars to use less gasoline. There are devices that can be made to work with our current vehicles to produce a gas that is very similar to hydrogen. This gas is called HHO. Same as HHO burns hydrogen and unstable. This means it can be created and stored very easily. This device uses electrolysis process of the electricity from your car battery. This device is very easy to make and most or all of the parts can be found at your local store. Once the HHO gas produced, pumping gas in your engine intake valves. This process does not eliminate the need for gasoline, but it does not reduce the amount of gasoline needed to run your car engine. This method will improve gas mileage by nearly 50%. Technically, this method will transform your car into a HHO gas hybrid. Some drivers even reported 60 miles per gallon.
